CURRENT PROJECTS

Housing and community development is the core of EHC's work. Many strong partnerships have developed over the years between EHC and parishes, neighborhood associations, local governments and concerned citizens. The projects, both completed and on the board, are varied as the rich communities in which they are located.
The following is a brief description of our partnerships, projects and the neighborhoods in which EHC is working. The descriptions and photos will give you and idea of our work. But the real story is in the lives of the people we serve.
Parktown Apartments
Episcopal Housing Corporation (EHC) has joined with I Can't We Can (ICWC) to develop the Parktown Apartments project in the Park Heights neighborhood of northwest Baltimore.
Collington Square Oxford House
The Oxford House on Mura St. is to assist men as a re-entry into an independent lifestyle. The men living there will pay a weekly rent and must be gainfully employed. This is important for both independence and security.
St. Stephens Court Apartments
EHC has partnered with the St. Stephen’s Court Apartments to undertake the renovation of the apartments to ensure the preservation of this
important source of affordable housing in west Baltimore
Harris Marcus Community Center
Newborn Holistic Ministries and EHC are working on the renovation of a 3-story building for use as community civic space, office space, and art studios.
Susanna Wesley House
Susanna Wesley House, Inc. (SWH), a volunteer-run organization, is engaged in a partnership with the Women’s Housing Coalition to provide service-enhanced housing to formerly homeless women and their children at 609 Park Avenue in Baltimore’s Mt. Vernon neighborhood.
