Welcome to Union Crossing!

townhomes in a row

The historic town of Westminster is home to a bustling Main Street, a thriving arts district, charming shops, and delightful restaurants. Westminster is also the summer home of the National Football League's Baltimore Ravens, whose summer training takes place at McDaniel College. The beautiful campus of the private liberal arts and sciences college is less than a stone's throw from the town homes of Union Crossing. Everyday conveniences such as schools, parks, shopping, and medical care are easily accessed from the community. The metropolitan attractions of nearby cities are a short drive away, with Baltimore, only 35 miles and Washington, only 65 miles from Westminster.

Union Crossing will offer nine affordably priced town homes, located on Union Street and 39th Street, near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Union Street. These to-be-constructed homes will feature three bedrooms with one full bathroom and one powder room, plus a full, ready-to-finish basement.

About the homes

The homes at Union Crossing boast 1,450 square feet on three levels, plus a full basement. Featuring a front porch, the first level of the home presents an open floor plan, with living and dining room areas, powder room and a rear kitchen with a door to the backyard. The second level includes two bedrooms and the full bathroom, and the third floor is home to the third bedroom. Every home will be Energy Star certified with all appliances included, and the homeowner will have the ability to select floor and countertop colors.

We estimate the homes will be in the low $200,000s, with a subsidized second mortgage covering approximately $33,000 of that cost. The homeowner will be responsible for the remainder of the sales price plus closing costs, to be paid with a small down payment from the homeowner and a conventional 30-year fixed rate mortgage. Buyer requirements include that all purchasers must be first time buyers with incomes not to exceed 80% of the Area Median Income.

We are pleased to partner with Hilbert Byers, Community Mortgage Specialist from BB&T bank, to meet the mortgage needs of our homeowners.
